At first glance, the crisp white and gold packaging makes the cleanser feel very expensive. It has a very strong medicated smell once opened, a release of the four aromatic plant oils that help smooth and decongest the skin to its natural PH balance. The cleanser comes with a specially woven 100% cotton muslin cloth that you can use to wash off. This is a great addition which is strong and reusable.
If you are looking for an easy quick-fix cleanser then Eve Lom might not be for you, but if you are the kind of person who loves a good bedtime ritual with plenty of patience then this product is certainly a great buy. Included is a six-step signature cleansing guide, the idea behind it is too melt a small amount in your hands before you apply all over the face and neck. Massage the thick oil into the skin using the finger tips and techniques provided to aid lymphatic drainage and stimulate blood flow to enable skin cells to regenerate more quickly.
When you have finished massaging in the cleanser, hold the hot cloth over your face to help the oils seep deeper into the skin and then simply buff the product off in upward circular motions. To finish, rinse the cloth in cold water, apply over the face to use any open pores and pat the skin dry with a clean towel. Afterwards, your skin is left visibly and feeling softer, smoother and more conditioned than ever. One tub usually lasts 4-5 monthly with nightly use. We know what you are thinking: “It’s too good to be true!” but while the £55 price tag is a little frightening, we think this product is worth every penny!
